Panoramas are it’s own specialty of photography. Not just equipment and technique. It is finding the right place to shoot them, a place where you wish you eyes could see that wide. What we see as humans is the equivalent of a 50mm lens in photography terms, however when we stand far enough from mountains, ocean or a city scape our brains can interpret width not capturable by that lens. Panoramas are a “trick” to photographically capture that wide interpretation our brains make.
